"Comprehensive"? Throw Out The Illegals And Vote Out The Incompetents! Now, That's "Comprehensive"! - Continued Our federal government keeps telling us that it will prosecute employers who conspire with illegal immigrants. Who arrests local, state and even national politicians who ignore and even openly defy immigration laws with amnesty-agenda driven policies and "sanctuary status"? In the recent GOP debate, I respectfully disagreed with Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) with regard to his stance on Iraq, but I have agreed with Congressman Paul, a true patriot who I greatly admire on many more issues than I ever have with the quintessential northeast liberal, Rudy Giuliani. Before we pat "America's Mayor" on the back one more time for his genuine courage and leadership on September 11th, we must first recall that Giuliani was a staunch defender of New York's sanctuary status, enacted earlier by Mayor Ed Koch. It was only coincidence that the 9/11 hijackers did not originate from New York, but they certainly could have. If they did, then we could more rightly make the argument that Rudy Giuliani caused 9/11, and not US intervention in the Middle East, as Congressman Paul claimed. So who, in the name of Osama bin Laden does Rudy "The Hypocrite" Giuliani think he is to climb his high horse and castigate Congressman Paul? Bravo to Congressman Paul, not for his stance on Iraq, but for standing up to Giuliani's sanctimonious absurdity and also for having the restraint to not knock him off his dais besides off his high horse, as he well deserved. In a recent TV interview, Giuliani also mentioned the recent terrorist plot planned against the Fort Dix, New Jersey military base. Three of those terrorists lived in the US for several years, due to sanctuary cities. So, Mr. "America's Mayor," you were saying…? We shouldn't stop at arresting politicians. Clergy who knowingly and willing violate our laws, or are advocating such are committing evil and should be arrested, prosecuted and defrocked. Clergy? Look these little morsels of faith up: "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in another way, that man is a thief and a robber," (John, 10-1), and "Let every person be subject to governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore, he who resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment." (Romans, 13, 1-3). These clergy members who support illegal immigrants don't do it because they're religious. They do it because they're liberal, but they hide behind the auspices of the Church to carry out their own contorted and biased ideology and agenda. These agenda-driven, narrow-minded, tunnel-visioned, liberal cheerleaders of immigration crime, like Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles, who vehemently support amnesty for illegal immigrants, based on the alleged premise of holiness, don't seem to care much about America's laws, or the fact that many of these unchecked illegals bring in contagious diseases, commit violent crimes, overwhelm our public entitlements, economy, and infrastructure, yet they preach love, charity and forgiveness. These holy hypocrites are simply choosing sides; illegal foreign intruders over legally born or naturalized American citizens. Jesus taught forgiveness, but He also taught the rule of law, and Americans, be they native or naturalized, are of as deserving of as much love and charity as any illegal immigrant who knowingly commits his crime of illegally crossing our border. As these wayward clergy members conspire to commit crimes against both Church and country, then let them suffer the consequences of their deliberate actions and errant behavior from both institutions accordingly. There are other ways in which we need to get our minds right also. As a currently and rightfully angry Pope Benedict XVI would now verify, we cannot count on conservative Hispanics entering our country, as we now see a trend of increasing acceptance of abortion in Latin American countries which are now home to 50% of the world's Catholics. That means that the secret wish of the Democrat Party may very well come true. As these 20 million and counting illegals multiply here with more births and more family members joining them here, the Republican Party and all hope for conservativism is over in just a few more decades, if not years. Once our country has a liberal one party system, dictatorship and demise will almost assuredly be next, as history as taught us of previous failed free governments. We will subsidize ourselves into bankruptcy with our excessive government entitlements, and our new illegal neighbors will tighten the noose for us. We will no longer be able to sustain ourselves. With the GOP will go the USA. Make no mistake about it, the Democrat Party is taking the lead in our unfolding national suicide, but the Republican Party is the deaf, dumb and blind collaborator for it's own purposes, including rank cowardice and an unhealthy and unrealistic obsession to be liked by all. I am tired of hearing the excuse makers and the apologists. Bill O'Reilly says that we cannot go around "kicking in doors like the Gestapo." "Gestapo"? If you hear a noise in your house at 3am, investigate and find a burglar, which action would you take: 1.) Pull out the trusty pistola and show the intruder the door, or 2.) Pull out a skillet and some eggs and start cooking him breakfast? There is nothing "Gestapo-like" about protecting one's country from illegal intruders any more than protecting one's home under the same circumstances. These people are criminals, not teddy bears. They broke the law. Many people forget (or feign to forget) that fact. Arrest these lawbreakers, incarcerate them, and then deport them, period! O'Reilly's ludicrous propaganda regarding this issue should make him an expert on the Gestapo. He's beginning to sound a little like Joseph Goebbels. At the very heart of this matter, we must remember that we are talking about people who broke our laws. They are "illegal," not just "immigrants," and not just "undocumented." They are all illegal, and so are their conspirators from within our own borders, and from all walks of life. Climb a security fence and try to forcibly enter any military installation, or for that matter, the White House and see what happens to you. Why is the security our national border and the crime of illegally intruding over it any less significant? O"Reilly also claimed we cannot deport these people. Why? General Swing did it under orders from then President Eisenhower during "Operation Wetback." Today, that campaign would probably be called "Operation Undocumented Worker," but even back then we nationally suffered from political correctness. Swing was shut down because too many enablers and sympathizers brought pressure to bear. Being the quintessential fence-sitting politician that he was, Ike caved, but not before proving that effective mass deportation can be done. Eliminate all the government entitlements and perks and we won't have to deport 20 million illegals. Many of them would go home of their own accord. Like with a stray cat or any other mooch or pest, stop feeding it and it will seek another source elsewhere. Even if we can't deport all the illegals, why should their crime be tolerated by law enforcement? We can't catch all the other criminals, either. Should we stop trying? O"Reilly is not the only person with this myopia, however. I wish I had a nickel for every time I heard someone on radio or TV say, "Of course" we can't deport them all…" What is it with this ridiculously redundant false confidence implied by the overly used and abused phrase of "of course?" That is a loaded statement, intended to elicit a particular and desired response. That statement is akin to the falsely entrapping question, "How many times per week do you beat your wife?" That tactic pretends to establish a premise that is not necessarily established, and thus funnels the response into a narrow channel. Pollsters and trial lawyers are experts at asking questions in such a way to procure the response they seek by their cunning and manipulation. We should never accept "of course" at face value unless we agree with the premise being made, yet it is amazing how often that impactful little phrase gets used in daily common dialogue. The "of course" trap can be easily beaten by a simple and direct challenge such as "Why not?" For example, "Of course we cannot deport 20 million illegal immigrants." "Why not? General Swing proved that we could." See how it works? So, should we challenge these many narrow-minded defeatists, who wish to restrict this debate and only have a monologue instead of a dialogue? OF COURSE! We should also challenge those deceitful manipulators who falsely remind us "America became America because "we are all immigrants." No, America became the true America because of "legal" immigrants. We need to first continually, consistently, and confidently educate, challenge, and change hearts and minds within our own country, folks. If we cannot convert those who wish to "cut and run from invaders already allowed into our country, how do we expect to ever win this war, of for that matter, any future war overseas? Courage, like charity, begins at home. We Americans are an accepting people, but sometimes, to a fault. Within reason, that trend must now cease or our nation as we know it will. We must be more attentive, more active, less trusting, more skeptical, more analytical, and more willing to challenge formerly trusted people, institutions, customs and even subtle yet crafty mannerisms of speech. We are now besieged by change and thus we must combat it with change. The old ways opened the gates to our new enemies, and peppered within the ranks of those masses of misdemeanants are felonious fanatics, blending in and waiting for the right time, the right place and the right set of circumstances to catastrophically attack us from within like ticking human bombs, and possibly in some cases, literally. They have plenty of time to pick and choose their time as our time runs out. All enemies to America must be stopped, thwarted and repulsed, from the petty to the severe, from the exterior through the interior, active and passive alike. All people who position themselves as enemies of our national security and sovereignty must be treated equally as the enemies and anarchists that they are, from the resurrected Tammany Hall to the temples of the modern-day Pharisees, from K Street to Wall Street to Main Street to Pennsylvania Avenue to the Rio Grande River and beyond. This is not a classic western movie, in which the good guys and bad guys are easily distinguishable by the white hats or black hats, but it's not rocket science, either. Remember the true definition of "illegal," so often and so deliberately excluded from conversation by those supporting this evil. Then accordingly observe who supports or opposes this illegality. And lastly, equally apply the same standard to all people who are on one side of this issue or the other. For those sitting in the middle, remember that even a lesser evil is still evil. The "fence sitters" (pardon the pun) are clearly the enemy. Contrary to what many liberals and proponents of "non-judgmental" moral relativism would like us to believe, there is no compromise to good and evil. To borrow a favorite word of that faction, this is not at all a "complex" issue as long as our moral compass is pointed in the correct direction first, and our intentions are virtuous, and in that order. This is war, and that is how this mater should be addressed. Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution grants Congress the power to "repel invasions," not to grant amnesty, ID cards and entitlements to the invaders. The President's oath of office, articulated in Article 2, Section 2, dictates that the President "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States," and that same Constitution calls for "domestic tranquility" and "common defense" of the United States in the preamble. The time is now long over due for our elected leaders to decide what country and which citizens it wishes to protect, and we, the endangered citizenry should remove these public servants from office accordingly and keep them out of any future office permanently. Any elected official who chooses any country over his own is a traitor. We are now in a watered down but rightfully escalating civil war, and as the confederates of our first Civil War rightfully chose their respective states over their country (barring the slavery issue), so it is that we Americans must now choose our country over this evil and destructive globalist mindset that grants acceptance, passive as well as intentional, to illegal immigration. All those obstructive to that ideal are enemies to the United States of America, and should be legally treated as such, regardless of what kind of collar they wear. In the end, there will be potentially be only one of two final results to this saga that Americans must accept: to be falsely called "xenophobes," "racists," "nativists," or any other emotionally charged but otherwise insignificant knee-jerk name, applied to us by the various connivers of agenda, or to be truly called the great nation that once was in the dusty archives of history. Now more than ever, Thomas Jefferson's sage words ring true that "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty." For this American, I have already made my choice. My fellow patriotic starfish, I hope to huddle with you soon on the beach, while the beach still exists, and hopefully before the next wave crashes ashore. May God bless America! |
