In The Name Of Racial, Classless Or Religious Purity By Ben Cerruti October 16, 2002 Last summer while speaking to the German Parliament, President George W. Bush said: "
others killed in the name of racial purity or the class struggle. These enemies kill in the name of a false religious purity." Thus he rightly linked despots like Osama bin Laden, and those that support his ideology, to Hitler and Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. Those of us who have lived long enough to experience Hitlerīs desire for an Aryan state, along with Lenin and Stalinīs desire for a classless state, should be able to clearly see the common thread that weaves itself through these ideologies. This common thread is the desire to eliminate the freedom of the people to have the right to lead their lives as they wish, as long as it doesnīt infringe on the rights of others to do the same. These ideologies dictate that government force society to conform to those conditions dictated by false concepts of righteousness that are counter to concepts of human rights developed and accepted by freedom loving societies. It wasnīt until WWII came to an end did the American people really learn of the evils of Nazism. It wasnīt until the end of the cold war that the American people realized that communism didnīt work. In both cases a dictatorial regime, with all of its educational brain washing, was required to force people to conform and the attendant benefits that were supposed to accrue to the people could not be realized in a society that was devoid of true freedom. Now we are exposed to an ideology that many had forgotten has existed since the 7th century. A religion based on the provisions of the Koran, that are derived from the so-called revelations of the despot Mohammed, are obviously flawed since they violate present day generally accepted concepts of human rights. As with the other ideologies this one also advocates the use of force to change the practices of non-Islamic societies. This force to be applied by any means necessary to effect what is desired. The question that must be asked is "do the people of many non-Islamic countries including those in Europe and, most importantly, those living in America completely understand these facts?" It is difficult to believe that they do. In Europe we find the same attitudes of appeasement that occurred during Germanyīs invasions into neighboring countries under Hitler. In America we find criticism of actions by those agencies responsible for the publicīs safety, by those both in and out of government. Profiling that would aid in identification of potential terrorists is opposed by those that consider it to be comparable to racial profiling. Does this make sense? These are different issues that common sense should clearly identify. There are those in government that obviously fear to clearly explain to the American people that facts about the Koran. That it contains provisions, that if taken as they are stated, clearly define the laws under which a society should function that do not allow for the freedoms existing in our society and that they also identify those living our way of life as "infidels" to be either converted, subjugated or eliminated. The statement "these people kill in the name of false religious purity" President Bush uttered to the German Parliament should have been a headline in newspapers and a major topic on television news programs. I could not find anyone in the media who has gleaned the meaning of that statement and expanded on it. What a shame. |
